After ten years trading on Wall Street, Chris moved back to his hometown of Venice, California with one driving vision: build a tech lab that gives restaurants the tools to embrace the social and mobile era. As a founding investor of the popular LA-based restaurant chain Tender Greens, Chris saw firsthand the opportunity in the online ordering niche. When he’s not discovering new modes of public transportation in Los Angeles, he’s blogging for The Huffington Post, concentrating his analysis on the intersection of food and media. He’s always down to grab a coffee and on a constant quest to find LA’s best.

After graduating Macalester College, Josiah went on to complete a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science at UC Irvine. Not content with only theorizing, Josiah went on to work at Networks In Motion (now Telecommunication Systems), Google/YouTube and Ad.ly. Josiah is also a published author, with his book, Redis in Action, scheduled for print in January 2013. When he’s not working on writing his book, Josiah spends time with his wife preparing for his daughter’s imminent birth, reads whenever possible, and tries to spend the off weekend riding his motorcycle.

Michael started his career in commercial real estate, working with new restaurants and retail outlets throughout the United States. Realizing that real estate wasn’t fast paced enough, he started at OpenTable where he sold restaurant reservation technology in Southern California. A constant innovator, Michael helped introduce new products and found new ways to scale existing products. Nothing drives Michael more than closing a sale, building his team and watching the company grow. When he’s not working, Michael’s traveling the globe headed to the next great music festival.
